Tithe.ly Engineering

Tithe.ly has the goal of becoming the #1 church technology platform.

In pursuit of that goal we have assembled a team of amazing engineers.

This team has been writing code that handles thousands of dollars in daily payment transactions, powers iOS and Android mobile apps, enables churches to utilize the power of mobile messaging to connect with their members and empowers church staff to administer and manage vast amounts of giving and donor data.

A few months ago it struck me that we as a company were missing out on a great opportunity in providing a platform for our people to share their knowledge and experience in engineering software.

That brings us to this moment in time and the start of our Tithe.ly Engineering Blog.

As a programmer I have long benefited from other companies engineers through articles on their own blog platforms.

The vision for this blog is threefold.

• First, that we too could contribute to the sharing of knowledge.
• Second, it provides our engineers with a voice and the means to get some “street cred”.
• Finally, as an added bonus, we hope to attract the interest of people who might one day join us as co-workers.
